Meet Our Success Team
It all started with a conversation.
Dr. George Gates, who had dedicated his professional life as an ENT surgeon for more than four decades, was increasingly frustrated with the limited tools available to clinicians to detect and diagnose middle ear infections accurately. This lack of information can make it challenging to know when antibiotics should be prescribed for treatment. Throughout his career, he had explored many technologies, yet he found himself consistently unsatisfied with the accuracy and reliability offered by these devices. In a moment of inspired creativity, he contemplated the potential of ultrasound technology as a possible solution to these persistent challenges. Fortunately, he had the perfect person in mind to assist him in this ambitious endeavor. This was Dr. Mark Moehring, a talented innovator known for developing novel applications of ultrasound technology. Dr. Moehring had previously designed and perfected transcranial Doppler ultrasound, which is now a well-known and used technology in medical imaging. Naturally, upon hearing about George's challenge—specifically, the task of making ultrasound technology functional without using traditional gel coupling while also imaging a new area of the middle ear—Mark was hooked. Indeed, he was never one to back down from a challenge, and he immediately set his sights on proving that he could successfully achieve this goal. As they say, the rest is history.
Under the leadership of Caitlin Cameron, a successful female entrepreneur and business leader, we now have a commercialization team comprised of a diverse group of experts in ultrasound technology, medical device development, and sales and marketing operations.
Together, we are a dedicated team determined to deliver an innovative solution that assists clinicians, significantly enhances patient care, and drives meaningful progress in managing middle ear infections and antibiotic use.
